Fleet Phoenix
Fleet Phoenix runs projects for young people in Hart aged from 11-25, including community outreach and detached work.
They plan workshops for young people based on self esteem and self awareness which, experience shows, are the issues often at the root of less positive choices. Fleet Phoenix is also looking to build capacity to work more closely with schools and young people who are underachievers and unmotivated.
Brookvale Community Association
BCA is a community organisation based in the Brookvale residential conservation area of Basingstoke.
BCA wanted funding for a Children's Disco and Family/Children’s Christmas party at the Village Hall. The events were to give those that don’t have much social contact a nice time out and the opportunity to feel included in local community life. They also ran the Brookvale in Bloom garden competition.
Bentley Community Association
BCA runs and maintains the local Village Hall in order to provide it as a resource for community events.
The Hall is made available seven days a week for a variety of activities but recently required some refurbishment. The BCA were able to fund most of the project, including new lights, a redecoration programme, curtains and carpets. However, they did not have sufficient funds for furniture.
Headley Down Community Association
HDCA works closely with the Heatherlands Estate community to develop and improve local facilities.
The funding went towards their core costs. They run several Adult Education classes and are the base for outreach services. By providing these services at the centre, residents have easily accessible and affordable opportunities within walking distance of their homes.

The Foundation fills the care gap for those who wish to remain at home as life draws to a close.
It provides a cost effective service that employs nurses on a 'Bank' basis, providing end of life care, with volunteers providing much of the administrative support. The beneficiaries are diverse throughout the community and the group suggest a figure of 170 per year but this is on a family basis.
